Ivan Franko National University of Lviv Launches Center for Cooperation with Patrons and Alumni

The Center for Cooperation with Patrons and Alumni has been launched at the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. It has been established as a platform for strategic partnership between the University, its alumni, patrons, philanthropists, and corporate partners. Its activities are aimed at fostering a modern culture of philanthropy, strengthening the alumni community, and attracting additional resources for the University’s sustainable development.


The Center is headed by Iryna Kiyanka, Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor, and an expert in international relations, public policy, and academic cooperation. She combines academic work with the strategic development of alumni engagement and partnerships with patrons, contributing to the establishment of long-term relationships between the University and its stakeholders. She has extensive experience in academia as well as in managing educational and public projects. She is distinguished by her strategic thinking, systematic approach, and ability to unite people around shared goals, values, and ideas.


The team has been strengthened by Myroslava Turkalo, a specialist in culture and public administration with many years of managerial experience. She has significant experience working in public authorities. For many years, she worked in the Department of Culture of the Lviv Regional State Administration, where she later headed the Department of Culture, Nationalities, and Religions, being responsible for shaping and implementing regional cultural policy and cooperation with cultural institutions and civil society. She has extensive experience in organizing both intimate and large-scale cultural and artistic projects. She also served as Deputy Chief of Staff of the Lviv Regional Council, working with management processes and inter-institutional communication.


Marian Shpytak has also joined the Center. He is a specialist in strategic communications and public relations with many years of experience in public institutions and business. He graduated from the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv with a degree in Law. He began his career in the Lviv Patrol Police, where he was responsible for information policy and crisis communications. He later continued his professional career in the international IT environment, focusing on corporate and external communications.


The Center is open to cooperation with everyone who seeks to support the development of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv and contribute to shaping its future.
