International IT company Avenga donates computer equipment to the Faculty of International Relations

Ivan Franko National University of Lviv continues to strengthen its partnerships with leading IT companies. At the initiative of the Center for Cooperation with Patrons and Alumni, the Faculty of International Relations received 10 modern laptops to enhance teaching and learning.

The equipment was provided by Avenga, an international IT company specialising in IT consulting and software development for leading global brands in healthcare, finance and the automotive industry.

“This is not the first time Avenga has supported social and educational initiatives of this kind. In previous years, we donated technical equipment to medical institutions, a fire engine to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, and ambulances for use on the front line. This year, we have focused on supporting educational institutions. We believe this is an important resource for the development of young professionals and an opportunity to build a skilled workforce for Ukrainian businesses,” said Marian Shpytak, PR Specialist at Avenga.

Professor Iryna Kiianka, Head of the Center for Cooperation with Patrons and Alumni, noted that this social initiative is important for engaging the alumni community in cooperation with the University. Marian Shpytak is a graduate of the University’s Faculty of Law, and many of our alumni work at Avenga. This demonstrates the University’s role as a platform for educational projects, socially responsible business and international cooperation, helping us move forward side by side.
